Sustainability
The Tasmanian Fashion Festival Inc. are committed to sustainable practices as part of this event.
This includes encouraging the use of public transport to and from the venue, providing recycling facilities, reducing single-use plastics, reducing printed collateral, and using only natural fibres, flowers and greenery as decoration. Non-disposable exhibitions booths will be setup for all exhibitors, to reduce the amount of disposable materials used for exhibits.
The TFF will have a great emphasis on showcasing and promoting sustainable fashion, providing information around the importance of knowing where and how your clothing has been produced, and promoting slow fashion that has been produced in an ethical, sustainable way.
